Afco & Sons Purchases Commercial Lot on 214th St SW

Local developer Afco & Sons has just purchased a 0.28 acres parcel on 214th St SW just east of 44th Ave W.  Afco & Sons is the developer behind Arbor Village and the upcoming Atlas 236 project.

The property at 4305 214th St SW is just south of the Puget Sound Kidney Center and currently contains a single family home built in 1929. It is bounded to the east by a fourplex and to the west by an undeveloped lot. The owner of the undeveloped lot also owns the property further west at the corner of 44th and 214th which has a structure being used as a law office.

The property, which sold for $310,000, is in the City's Community Business (BC) zone. Commercial or mixed-use buildings are allowed from 1 to 4 stories.

Afco & Sons has two existing developments, Arbor Village at the SE corner of 236th and 56th and Maple Court Apartments to the south along 56th. They are also planning Atlas 236, another 5-story mixed-use building at the NE corner of 56th and 236th and recently purchased another small parcel in the Town Center.
