Two-Story Commercial Building Being Considered for Handy Mart Site
Arca Architecture submitted for a pre-application conference for the former Handy Mart site at 22802 44th Avenue W. The project proposal is to construct two, two-story commercial buildings (12,500 GSF total) with 24 surface and 22 below-grade parking stalls. Site development would include landscaped areas, paved surface parking, and pedestrian hardscape areas. The buildings would front 44th Ave W while access to the parking lot would be off of 228th St SW.
The applicant, Alan Clark (who also own the Rogers property), will meet with city staff to discuss the proposal in early October.
